Winter Sucks: Protect your pooch’s paws. Easy 3 Ingredient DIY Balm

Let’s just get it out on the table...winter sucks!

Ugh! I can’t tell you how much I hate being cold. Beanie (that little Brittany Spaniel running amok around the shop) isn’t crazy about it either. I’m sure she’d much rather be snoozing in her warm cozy custom dog crate. See how I snuck that in there. Lol That dog has no shame and apparently neither do I.

Ok let’s get to the point of why you are reading this blog. As much as winter sucks for us hoomans, it sucks just as much for our pups and especially their tender little paws.

So here’s a super duper easy 3 Ingredient DIY Puppy Paw Balm recipe.

3 Ingredient DIY Dog Paw Balm Recipe

Step 1: Simply combine and melt three ingredients.

2T Coconut Oil

2T Bee’s Wax Chips

2T Shea Butter

Step 2: Pour into a small storage container and let cool.

Step 3: Massage a small amount on your pup’s paws and between their paw pads.

Keeps 1-2 years.

They say it’s a good idea to use this to protect your pup’s delicate paw pads before going out for walks in icy cold weather. Put a little on their paws before bedtime to help sooth and repair chapped paws. Heck..since it’s made from all natural human grade products, go ahead and rub a little on your dry chapped skin too.

Thanks a bunch for reading along and sharing this with your puppy lovin’ friends and family.

Best,

Viv & Beanie
